Vieux Carré

Vieux Carre Rye Cocktail
Glass of a Vieux Carre cocktail with big ice cube on the wooden bar counter on the blurred background

This drink is named for the old quarter in New Orleans. It's similar to a classic Old Fashioned with a bit more complexity and deep, subtle sweetness.

We also served it at a friend's dad's 60th birthday party because the translation of Vieux Carré is Old Square.

Enjoy.
