Welcome to Feast and Flight, a food, travel, and recipe blog. This is where I can share my recipes, ideas, tips, and trials and errors with you!
I was born in Miami but grew up in Hawaii in a Cuban American family where food and family were and are central to everyday life. My husband is a pilot and we use the world as our inspiration for our plates and hope to share new recipes and foods with you to try. I love to cook and studied wine for bit in France. We love to eat together and with our friends, meals should be shared. No idea for a meal is too big or too small.

Both of these were started with a desire to bring people closer together through food. Food is one of the best things we can share and is also one of the most fun and creative. Though this blog, we want everyone to taste the world! Even if you can't travel somewhere, my hope is help you have even a fifteen minute immersion in something new.
